The Centre for Music, Worship & the Arts is a ministry of Idlewild Baptist Church. Our mission is to equip students with quality, Christian instruction for the purpose of exalting the Savior through their God-given talents and abilities.
The Centre began more than three decades ago as the home for everything Idlewild does musically outside of Sunday worship. The name stuck — and the British spelling gave it a little artistry. Today the Centre serves around 180 students, from first-time beginners to advanced players.
Piano has always been our mainstay, joined over the years by guitar, voice, strings, band, and art. Newer programs — like our homeschool band — are growing fast, offering families a one-stop place to learn, close to home.
Whether your child dreams of the stage, the worship team, or simply the joy of playing, the Centre is a place to grow — musically and personally.

Lessons are held Monday, Tuesday & Thursday during the school year, 9 AM–9 PM. Band and orchestra classes meet in the orchestra rehearsal room.
