Register & pay

Complete the registration form and pay the $20 annual registration fee. This secures your place in line for scheduling.

We assign your instructor and lesson time based on your registration date, returning-student status, and your preferences.

Frequently asked questions

Who can enroll?

Our programs are designed for students ages 4 and up — private lessons start at age 4, and Piano Explorers group piano is for K5 through 1st grade. Adults are welcome too — our art classes serve adult and senior students, and adult private lessons are available on request.

Do we have to be members of Idlewild?

Not at all. About half of our students are Idlewild families, and the rest come from other churches or the wider community. Families of every background are welcome — we simply love helping students grow.

How much does it cost?

Full 2026–27 tuition and class rates are on our Pricing & Schedule page. There’s also a one-time $20 registration fee per student, per year.

When and where are lessons?

Private lessons run Monday, Tuesday & Thursday during the school year, from 9 AM to 9 PM, at the Idlewild Lutz campus (18333 Exciting Idlewild Blvd, Lutz, FL 33548). Band and strings classes meet on set weekday afternoons.

How are teachers and times assigned?

Placement is based on (1) date of paid registration, (2) whether you’re a returning student, and (3) your preferred time and instrument, alongside instructor availability. Registering early is the surest way to get your ideal schedule.
